Spellbook
Every button that matters, in plain English: what it actually does in 12.1 and when to press it. Synthesized from the Icy Veins rotation page and Method's guide, opened Sep 1 — anything 12.1-specific carries the same sourcing as the rest of this app.
The one-sentence version of the specGenerate Holy Power with Holy Shock and Judgment, spend it on Eternal Flame or Word of Glory, weave Divine Toll / Holy Prism on cooldown, and treat Holy Light as the expensive emergency lever. Mana is the whole game.
Verify The number chips are baseline values plus what the rotation page states outright (Holy Shock 6s, Wings 2m/30s, Aura Mastery 12%). Icy Veins’ spell summary did not print full 12.1 cooldown/cost figures — confirm anything you plan around against the in-game tooltip.
The engine — Holy

Holy Shock6s cd+1 HP40y
Instant heal (or damage) on a 6-second cooldown, generates Holy Power, and can proc Infusion of Light.
When On cooldown, always. This is the metronome the whole spec runs on.

Infusion of Light12.1
The proc off Holy Shock: your next Flash of Light becomes instant and bigger, or your next Judgment is amplified and refunds Holy Power.
When Healing needed → Flash of Light. Nobody hurt → Judgment. Never sit on it.

Flash of Light+ mana40y
Quick single-target heal; instant while Infusion of Light is up.
When The proc-spender and the filler. Without a proc it's mediocre — don't spam it out of habit.

Judgment12.1+1 HP30y
Free ranged attack that generates Holy Power and applies a small absorb; the tier 4-piece gives it a 20% chance to grant Infusion.
When Filler in damage lulls, and your Infusion dump when healing isn't needed.

Holy Light12.1+++ mana40y
Your biggest single heal and by far your most expensive button — the 12.1 set bonus makes it always grant Infusion and cost even more. Avenging Wrath amplifies your next two casts.
When Emergencies and Wings windows. Going out of mana? You're casting too many of these.

Eternal Flame−3 HP
Holy Power spender: a heal plus a heal-over-time.
When Default single-target spender, especially on tanks. Recently buffed — it beat Light of Dawn talents out of Method's build.

Word of Glory−3 HP
Holy Power spender: instant flat heal, no HoT.
When When you need the whole heal right now and the target won't stay hurt.

Light of Dawn12.1−3 HP40y radius
Holy Power AoE heal — no longer a cone in 12.1: it hits everyone within 40 yards of you.
When Group-wide chip damage. Stop aiming it; just press it.

Shield of the Righteous−3 HPmana back
Spends Holy Power on damage plus damage reduction — and regenerates your mana in downtime.
When Nobody dying? This is the mana button. Every quiet global.

Consecration
Ground damage zone under you.
When Mythic+ filler when healing is quiet and you're standing still anyway.
Cooldowns — Holy

Avenging Wrath12.12m cd30s
Wings: more damage, healing and crit for 30 seconds. In 12.1 it also amplifies your next two Holy Light casts, and Hammer of Wrath replaces Judgment while it runs.
When With Divine Toll for the 'godlike' window (Maxroll's word). Wings + Virtue for scripted raid spikes.

Avenging Crusader
Talent alternative to Wings: Judgment and Crusader Strike heal nearby allies during the window, on a much shorter cooldown.
When Press on cooldown and spam Judgment + Crusader Strike — it's its own rotation while active.

Divine Toll5× Shock
Fires five instant Holy Shocks at once — the highest healing-per-press in the kit, and each Shock can carry Herald's Dawnlight.
When On cooldown at allies for healing; pair with Beacon of Virtue for burst.

Holy Prism
Choice-node twin of Divine Toll: cast at an enemy it AoE-heals around them; at an ally it heals them and damages nearby enemies.
When On cooldown, usually at the enemy for the AoE heal. Verify the choice-node layout in-game — flagged in Sources.
Beacon of Virtue~8s+++ mana
Temporary beacon on a whole group: for ~8 seconds half your healing echoes to everyone near the target. Your single biggest mana sink.
When Right as raid damage hits, not before. Queue a Holy Light into it for the full transfer.
Beacon of Faith
A second permanent beacon.
When Park on a ranged player for full Lightbringer mastery value. The easier-to-pilot raid build runs this instead of Virtue.
Beacon of the Savior12.1
12.1 Apex talent: a third, automatic beacon that jumps to your lowest-health ally, adding shields and damage reduction.
When Passive — but it changes habits: beacon targets are no longer 'do not heal'.

Aura Mastery~6s12% DR
Empowers Devotion Aura to 12% damage reduction for the party.
When Before the hit, never after. Low on throughput charts, first on raid-leader charts.

Hand of Divinity12.1
Makes your next Holy Lights instant and half-cost.
When The Wings enabler — pair it with Avenging Wrath's Holy Light amplification.
Hero-tree signatures

Dawnlight
Herald of the Sun: Divine Toll and Holy Prism apply a radiant heal-over-time you then spread across allies.
When Automatic — your job is casting into the window it creates.
Sun's Avatar
Herald capstone: during Wings you link to Dawnlight targets, adding healing and extending the system.
When Passive; it's why Herald raid healing beats Lightsmith.

Holy Bulwark
Lightsmith: an absorb-shield armament you place on an ally.
When On the player about to be hit. Lightsmith trades throughput for this utility.

Sacred Weapon
Lightsmith: a weapon buff that adds healing/damage procs to the bearer's casts.
When Usually on yourself or the strongest DPS. Crit over Haste when running this tree.

Hammer of Light
Templar (Ret): the empowered Hammer unlocked by Wake of Ashes or Light's Deliverance.
When Ret's biggest hit — with Wake, or on the free proc.
Emergencies & utility

Lay on Hands10m cd
Full heal on a long cooldown. Doesn't work on Divine Shield-style immunities.
When The oh-crap. Tirion's Devotion cuts the cooldown 40% — macro it mouseover.

Divine Shield5m cd8s
Full immunity, 8 seconds.
When Cheese a mechanic, drop a DoT, buy the raid your corpse-run back. Forbearance applies.

Divine Protection
Personal damage reduction, short cooldown.
When Every scripted raid hit. It's cheap — use it like a rotational button.

Blessing of Protection
Immunity to physical damage for one ally.
When Physical mechanic on a squishy. Never the tank mid-pull — it wipes their threat.

Blessing of Sacrifice30% xfer
Transfers 30% of an ally's damage to you.
When Tank external. Watch your own bar while it runs.

Blessing of Freedom
Removes and prevents movement effects.
When Slows and roots — kiters, tanks, anyone doing a Crosswinds-style movement check.

Intercession
Combat resurrection.
When Macro it mouseover. Its whole value is being cast fast.

Cleanse12.1
Removes Magic — and with Improved Cleanse, Disease and Poison too.
When Improved is mandatory this season: Sethraliss, Voidscar, Den of Nalorakk and the raid all check it.

Hammer of Justicestun
Single-target stun.
When Stops, casts, adds walking somewhere they shouldn't (a Soulcoil Well, say).

Rebukekickmelee
Your interrupt. Melee range.
When On the kick rotation you agreed to before the pull. You did agree to one.
The engine — Retribution

Wake of Ashes
Big cone damage and the Templar Hammer of Light enabler.
When On cooldown, ideally just after Execution Sentence.

Blade of Justice
Holy Power generator on a short cooldown.
When At 2 Art of War stacks, or on cooldown as filler priority.

Final Verdict
Single-target Holy Power spender.
When At 5 Holy Power on single target, or on a Divine Arbiter proc in AoE.

Divine Storm
AoE Holy Power spender.
When Default spender the moment there are two-plus targets.

Execution Sentence
Damage amplifier window on one target.
When Just before Wake of Ashes. Radiant Glory replaces it for smoother solo play.

Hammer of Wrath
Execute-range hammer; usable freely during Wings.
When At 2 charges, and always inside Avenging Wrath.
